Debit Card Processing
We offer Signature and PIN Pad-based debit solutions for Check Cards and ATM Cards. When Higher Standards sets your business up to accept Check and ATM Cards, we include all major debit networks such as NYCE, ACCEL, Visa Debit, PULSE, MAESTRO, CU24 and STAR. Check and ATM Cards have become more popular to the end user and, in most cases, less costly to the merchant.
Fleet Cards
For the petroleum retailers, accepting Fleet cards brings a broader customer base of business. Fleet cards are commercial credit cards issued by state and local government agencies, mixed fleets, diesel transportation (truck fleets), small businesses to include rewards programs and more.
Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT)
Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) is an electronic system that allows a recipient to authorize transfer of their government benefits from a Federal account to a retailer account to pay for products received. EBT is used in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam. EBT has been implemented in all states since June of 2004.
By early 2000, the quality control for the EBT program became more efficient and secure for retailers to accept. When accepting EBT transactions, it allows the same benefits as using a Debit Card during the transaction and settlement time.
